                 Në bashkëpunim me Korpusin e Paqës Amerikan, gati një vjet në mesin tonë kemi volonteren Kelly Rappe,e cila ka sjellë eksperiencën amerikane në zhvillimin e procesit edukativo-arsimor në shkollën tonë.

                    Kelly, nga  nëntori  i  vitit që  kaloj,përveç asistencës në orët e gjuhës  angleze   ka   përgatitur  X - FACTORIN   në  kuadër të  shkollës,FIFA WORLD CAMP 2014 dhe aktivitete tjera që kan të bëjnë me mësimin e  gjuhës angleze.Në përgatitje e sipër është realizimi i proektit për  kompletimin e një mësonjëtore me mjete teknollogjike të reja-projektor,tabelë interaktive,laptop,etj. për të krijuar kushte sa  më të mira për zhvillimin e procesit edukativo arsimor të kohës së sotme për lëndën e gjuhës angleze dhe për lëndët tjera.

                     Për ta realizuar projektin duhet mjete.Një pjesë të konsiderueshme të mjeteve i siguron Ambasada e Amerikës,ndërsa 30% duhet të siguroje komuniteti lokal dhe shkolla.

                 Një fjalë e urtë amerikane thotë “GIVE AND TAKE” që don të thotë se  “Për të marr duhet  të japish".Prandaj ,ne në bashkëpunim me nxënësit, prindërit,arsimtarët e gjuhës angleze dhe me idenë e volonteres, mundohemi të sigurojmë pjesën tonë të mjeteve me shit-blerje të ushqimit.Ushqimin e përgatitin prindërit ndërsa arsimtarët dhe nxënësit janë blerës.

Fondi ushqimore per te ardhurat per kabinetin e shkolles ‘Dervish Cara’

Shkolla ‘Dervish Cra’ po konkuron per nje grant (burse). Ky grant shkon permes ambasades se SHBA-ve dhe shpresojme qe do te arrijme burrime te mjaftueshme per mjete teknologjike per kabinetin ne katin  e trete te shkolles. Ne  kete grant ne do te marrim pjese me 30-40% te parave qe duhet te mblidhen nga komuniteti. Ne tashme kemi pasur donacione te mira si shkaf per libra, libra ne gj.angleze, ngjyre si dhe punen e dores per lyerjen e kabinetit.

Me parate e fondit ne shpresojme te marrim nje projektor, lap-top dhe  tabele elektronike per kabinetin. Tani per tani ne kemi mbledhur 10,340denare nga ushqimi qe kemi pregaditur dhe shitur ndermjet nxenesve dhe shpresojme qe kete shume ta rrisim deri ne 16,000denare. Ky grant eshte nje mundesi shume e mire per tu perfshire te gjithe arsimtaret dhe nxenesit ne krejt shkollen.

Ne shpresojme qe kete kabinet ta perdorin mundesisht krejt arsimtaret dhe nxenesit. Perparesi do tju jepet arsimtareve te informatikes dhe atyre te gj.angleze sepse ata kane dhene nje kontribut te jashtezakonshem per kete kabinet. Tani jemi duke kerkuar mjete per rregullimin e dyshemes, perde te trasha, libra ne gj.angleze, shqipe dhe maqedone, nje shkaf librash si dhe gjithcka qe mendoni qe eshte e pershtatshme per kete kabinet.

Falemenderojme cdo anetar te komunitetit per perkrahjen dhe mundin qe japin per edukim me te mire te nxenesve te ketij komuniteti. Cdo nxenes ka kontribuar duke blere apo shit ne projektin tone te shit-blerjes.

Reciklimi i shisheve plastike

Si shkolle,tani jemi duke punuar ne projektin per reciklimin e shisheve plastike qe komuniteti me bujari ka vendosur t’i dhuroje. Keta shishe plastike ne vend qe te shkojne neper kanale dhe lumej, do te shkojne ne fabriken per reciklim afer Tetoves. Keta para do te shfrytezohen per letra per printim per nxenesit dhe mesuesit si dhe per burime per kabinetin. Shpresojme qe keto perpjekje per reciklim do te vazhdojne edhe ne te ardhmen. Kjo eshte nje pune e lehte nga e cila nxenesit me te vertete do te perfitojne.

Bake Sale Fundraiser for Dervish Cara’s Resource Lab

Dervish Cara is trying to apply for a grant. This grant is through the USA Embassy and it is in hopes to fund for different technological resources in the current lab on the third floor of the school. With this grant we are going to apply for, 30-40 percent of the money needs to be through donation/fundraising in the community. We have already had wonderful donations of bookshelves, English books, paint, and labor of painting the entire room.

With the fundraising we hope to get a power point projector, a laptop, and smartboard technology for the room. Currently we have fundraised with the bake sale fundraiser 10,340 denars for this grant. I hope we can fundraise to 16,000 denars. This grant is a great opportunity to get involved and impact all the students and teachers in the entire school.

This lab will be used hopefully by all the teachers and students. There will be priority given to the technology teacher and the English teachers because they have given so much of their time for this lab. We are currently looking for flooring donations, dark curtain donations, English/Albanian/Macedonian book donations, book shelve donations, and anything else you think would be relevant to the resource lab.

Thank you every single community member by supporting the effort for a better education for the students in the community. Every single child has contributed by purchasing food at the bake sale and/or bringing food to the bake sale.

Recycling Plastic Bottles

As a school we are currently working on recycling all the plastic bottles that community decides to generously donate. These plastic bottles, instead of going in the gutters and rivers, will be going to a recycling plant near Tetovo. The money received from recycling the plastic bottles will go to paper for printing for the students and teachers and then to the resource lab. I hope that these recycling efforts will continue for years to come. This is easy money that the students at the school will really benefit from.
